Zain KSA, the third mobile network operator in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has achieved a record speed of 1.9 Gbps (gigabytes per second) during a trial run of the 5G indoor solution known as ‘AirScale Radio System’ (ASiR), at its Jeddah headquarters.

ASiR is an indoor network radio system from Nokia that supports a mixed network of 4G and 5G on the same platform, giving high speeds and broad coverage, and can easily penetrate within buildings, across multiple floors.

Zain KSA has a coverage of 50 cities Kingdom-wide with 4,700 cell towers making the fast internet speed possible.
